Zvonimir Kralj loves both Croatia and Sweden; BRAVE CF fighter to face Jakob Nedoh in Serbia


Zvonimir “The Croatian Sensation” Kralj, 29, of Gothenburg, Sweden is one of the European mixed martial artist currently signed with the MMA promotion BRAVE Combat Federation, which is based in Bahrain. He competes in the light heavyweight division.

Born and raised in Croatia, Kralj moved to Sweden in 2006. He made his professional MMA debut in 2013 and went on hiatus both in 2014 and in 2016.

Kralj’s first two professional MMA fights were held in Sweden. His third one was held in Finland.

“Croatia will always have special place in my heart (because) it’s my home country,” Kralj told CONAN Daily. “But I have everything in Sweden (including) my family (and) my friends and I became the person I am today in Sweden. It’s hard to explain but I feel love for both countries.”


When Kralj made his BRAVE CF debut at “BRAVE CF 39” in Stockholm, Sweden on August 15, 2020, he knocked out Samir Sadoun of Algeria. On August 24, 2020, the Croatian-Swedish MMA fighter earned his second BRAVE CF win by knocking out Fatih Aktas, 32, of Turkey at “BRAVE CF 40” in Stockholm.

On November 19, 2020, Kralj was knocked out by Mohamed “L’Ambiance” Said Maalem, 39, of Switzerland at “BRAVE CF 45” in East Riffa, Bahrain. The loss downgraded Kralj’s professional MMA record to 7 wins and 4 losses.

On December 18, 2021, Kralj will have an opportunity to earn his third BRAVE CF victory. He will fight Jacob Nedoh of Slovenia at “BRAVE CF 56” at the BelExpo Centar in Belgrade, Serbia.

“BRAVE CF 56” marks the first ever BRAVE CF event to be held in Serbia. In the fifth bout of the evening, Kralj and Nedoh will battle it out in the light heavyweight division.
