Alexandria Flanigan, 25, of Cullman, Alabama, United States is the first African-American woman to hold the Miss Cullman title. On January 10, 2021, she represented the city at Miss Alabama USA 2021, competed against 25 other candidates at the Auburn Hotel Grand Ballroom in Auburn, Alabama and won the title.
Runner-up to Flanigan was Katherine McIntyre of Montgomery. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Kristen Furr of Capstone, Katelyn Vinson of Dothan and Bayley Albinger of Auburn-Opelika.
Miss Alabama USA 2022
On January 15, 2022, Flanigan will crown her successor at the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center of Auburn University in Auburn. It is the 67th edition of the beauty pageant that selects the state’s candidate of Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.
Alabama currently has 30 Miss USA placements including the coronation of Sylvia Hitchcock. She won Miss USA and Miss Universe in 1967.

Born in Birmingham, Alabama to Jeff Flanigan and Renee Flanigan, Alexandria graduated from Good Hope High School in Good Hope, Alabama in 2015. She attended Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama, Wallace State Community College in Hanceville and Highlands College in Birmingham before entering the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) in Huntsville, Alabama in 2019 to take a pre-law program, majoring in philosophy and minoring in political science.
On November 29, 2021, Alexandria represented Alabama at Miss USA 2021 at the Paradise Cove Theater of River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. She was unplaced.
