Alexandria Flanigan, 25, of Cullman, Alabama, United States was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Jeff Flanigan and Renee Flanigan. Alexandria is the first African-American woman to hold the Miss Cullman title.
On January 10, 2021, Alexandria represented Cullman at Miss Alabama USA 2021 and competed against 25 other candidates at the Auburn Hotel Grand Ballroom in Auburn, Alabama. She won the title.
Runner-up to Alexandria was Katherine McIntyre of Montgomery. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Kristen Furr of Capstone, Katelyn Vinson of Dothan and Bayley Albinger of Auburn-Opelika.
Miss Alabama USA 2022 contestants
On January 15, 2022, Alexandria will crown her successor at the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center of Auburn University in Auburn. It is the 67th edition of the beauty pageant that selects the state’s candidate of Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.
Alabama currently has 30 Miss USA placements including the coronation of Sylvia Hitchcock. She won Miss USA and Miss Universe in 1967.
