Brittney Taylor, 33, of Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, United States was recently arrested. She was charged with domestic violence assault, which is a misdemeanor.
Taylor is an Omaha Police Department officer. She was put on administrative leave after her arrest.
At around 4:00 a.m. on January 30, 2022, police responded to a home near 45th Street and Laurel Avenue in Omaha and spoke to a woman who had injuries to her head and face. She said she was assaulted by Taylor.
The name of the injured woman was not released. She told police that she was Taylor’s girlfriend.
Taylor was booked into the Douglas County Department of Corrections in Omaha. On January 31, 2022, she was no longer in custody.
