Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire’s Ansreen Bukhari, Mahek Bukhari charged 5 days after Mohammed, Hashim Ijazuddin, Saqib Hussain’s deaths

Hailing from George Eardley Close, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England, Ansreen Bukhari, 45, and her daughter Mahek Bukhari, 22, have been arrested. The daughter is a vocal Palestine supporter and a fashion influencer known for her social media account May B Vlogs.

At 1.35am on February 11. 2022, a silver Skoda Fabia, a grey Audi TT and a blue Seat Leon were involved in a crash on the A46 close to the Six Hills junction in Leicestershire, East Midlands, England. In the silver Skoda Fabia were Mohammed Hashim Ijazuddin, 21 and Saqib Hussain, 21, both of Banbury, Oxfordshire, England.

Ijazuddin was driving Hussain to Leicestershire when their silver Skoda Fabia left the carriageway and smashed through a central reservation. Ansreen, Mahek and Mahek’s friend Natasha Akhtar, 21, of Birmingham, West Midlands, England allegedly chased Ijazuddin and Hussain and rammed the two men’s vehicle off the road.

The silver Skoda Fabia left the carriageway and smashed through a central reservation. Ijazuddin and Hussain were pronounced dead at the scene and Ansreen, Mahek and Akhtar were arrested after the deadly crash.

On February 16, 2022, Ansreen, Mahek and Akhtar appeared at Leicester Crown Court by video link from HMP Peterborough in Peterborough, England. Judge Timothy Spencer QC remanded the three women in custody until a plea hearing on March 18, 2022 with a trial date provisionally set for September 26, 2022.

Also on February 16, 2022, Raees Jamal, 21, of Lingdale Close, Loughborough, Leicestershire and Rekan Karwan, 28, of Tomlin Road, Leicester, Leicestershire were remanded into custody by police. They appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court.

Ansreen, Mahek, Akhtar, Jamal and Karwan were each charged with murder in connection with the crash that killed Ijazuddin and Hussain. Jamal and Karwan will appear at Leicester’s crown court on February 17, 2022.
