Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will be crowned at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on April 30, 2022. It will be the third edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Philippines’ official Miss Universe candidate.

The deadline for submission of application was originally on February 15, 2022 but it was extended until February 22, 2022. Applicants must be at least 18 and under 28 years old at the time of the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 pageant and a Filipino citizen with a Philippine passport.

Those who have been married or have been pregnant are not qualified. There is no height requirement.

The reigning Miss Universe Philippines 2021 is Beatrice Luigi Gomez, 26, of Cebu City, Philippines. She was crowned on September 30, 2021 at the Henann Resort Convention Center of Alona Beach in Panglao, Bohol, Philippines, besting 27 other finalists.

Representing the Philippines, Gomez competed against 79 other candidates at Miss Universe 2021 at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel on December 13, 2021. She finished in the Top 5.
