Miss South Carolina USA 2021 Marley D’Lynn Stokes, 24, of Lexington, South Carolina, United States will crown her successor at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center in North Charleston, South Carolina on March 5, 2022. It is the 70th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects South Carolina’s official Miss USA candidate.

Currently, South Carolina holds 23 Miss USA placements including the coronation of Miriam Stevenson in 1954, Shawn Weatherly in 1980 and Lu Parker in 1994. Stokes finished in the Top 8 in 2021.

Stokes was crowned Miss South Carolina USA 2021 on March 7, 2021. Emily Wakeman was first runner-up while Shaylyn Simmors, Brooklyn Brewster and Riley Copans were the respective second, third and fourth runners-up.
