India’s Mohammed Farhad in Bahrain for his 6th BRAVE CF fight


Mohammed “Sher-e-Hind” Farhad, 32, of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India was recently welcomed by the Indian community in Bahrain gathered at the lobby of Wyndham Garden Manama in Manama, Bahrain. He is set to fight Maysara Mohamed of Egypt at “BRAVE CF 57“, the first BRAVE Combat Federation event in 2022.

Featuring 12 professional mixed martial arts bouts and one amateur MMA fight, “BRAVE CF 57” will be held at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain on March 11, 2022. In the fourth bout of the evening, Farhad and Mohamed will battle it out in the bantamweight division.


Farhad has been competing professionally since September 7, 2013. He currently holds a professional MMA record of 12 wins and 3 losses.

“BRAVE CF 57” marks the sixth BRAVE CF fight of Farhad. When he made his promotional debut at “BRAVE CF 1” in Isa Town on September 23, 2016, he defeated Zouhir Badre-Eddine of Morocco via technical knockout via punches.


On April 22, 2017, Farhad defeated Irfan Khan of Mumbai at “BRAVE CF 5: Go for Glory” in Mumbai also via technical knockout via punches. On November 17, 2017, he lost to Hamza Kooheji of Bahrain via unanimous decision at “BRAVE CF 9: The Kingdom of Champions” in Isa Town.

On November 23, 2019, Farhad bounced back by defeating Kushal Vyas of Mumbai via technical knockout via leg kicks at “BRAVE CF 30” in Hyderabad, India. On March 11, 2021, Farhad earned his fourth BRAVE CF win by knocking out Uloomi Karim of Islamabad, Punjab, Pakistan via punch at “BRAVE CF 47: Asian Domination” in Arad, Bahrain.



Including India, Bahrain and Egypt, a total of 16 countries are represented at “BRAVE CF 47.” The others are Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Canada, England, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Russia, Switzerland and Uzbekistan.

Farhad solely represents India. Egypt is represented by Mohamed and Omar Emad.


“BRAVE CF 57” is part of the BRAVE International Fight Week 2022, which is being held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The MMA Super Cup 2022 is also part of the combat sports event organized by BRAVE CF in cooperation with the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) and the Khalid Bin Hamad Sports Organization (KHK SPORTS).

In the main event of “BRAVE CF 57”, Hamza “The Pride of Bahrain” Kooheji, 29, of Bahrain and Brad “Superman” Katona, 30, of Canada will compete for the BRAVE CF Bantamweight World Championship. Here is a recent interview with the latter:
