Kim Jongwoo represented South Korea at Mister Global 2019 and competed against 37 other candidates at the Benjasiri Grand Ballroom of Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 in Klongton Khlong Toei, Bangkok, Thailand on September 26, 2019. He won the title.

Runner-up to Kim was Houssem Saïdi of Tunisia. Jose Luis Rodrigo of Spain, Kenan Murseli of Switzerland and Braulio Encarnación of Dominican Republic were the respective second, third and fourth runners-up.

Mister Global 2021

Kim was not able to crown his successor in 2020 and in 2021 due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. On March 15, 2022, he will crown his successor at Taksila Hotel in Maha Sarakham, Thailand.

Sophicha Apichonsantad and Kuntida Muntrikaeo will host the coronation ceremony. This marks the seventh edition of the international male beauty pageant.

Mister World 2018

On July 22, 2018, Dario Duque Mena represented the United States at Mister Global 2018 and competed against 37 other candidates at the Mambo Cabaret Show in Bangkok. He won the title.

Runner-up to Duque was Ahmed Lasheen of Egypt. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Jakub Kucner of Poland, Dwayne Jeremy Geldenhuis of South Africa and Staporn Moollisan of Thailand.
