Christina Thompson is a journalist and beauty queen from Lynchburg, Virginia, United States. She is Mike Thompson and Hallie Thompson‘s daughter.

When Christina was in high school, she was on the varsity volleyball team. She is the creator of the Purposeful Position Mentorship.

Christina has two brothers namely Brandon Thompson and Sean Thompson. Here are 13 more things about her:

  2. From June 2013 to July 2013, she was a volunteer teacher in El Oratorio, Guatemala.
  3. She was Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2013. On August 10, 2013, she represented New Jersey at Miss Teen USA 2013 on the Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas. She finished in the Top 16.
  4. From 2014 to 2018, she attended Wake Forest University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism and writing. From September 2014 to September 2015, she was a Campus Sports article writer. From September 2014 to May 2017, she was a Her Campus Media senior editor.
  5. From May 2015 to August 2015, she was an Alan Weiss Productions intern.
  6. From June 2016 to July 2016, she was a Sunset+Vine intern in London, England, United Kingdom. She competed at Miss North Carolina USA 2016 and finished in the Top 10.
  7. In May 2017, she interned at “CBS This Morning” in New York, USA.
  8. She competed at Miss New Jersey USA 2018 and finished in the Top 18.
  9. She was Miss North Carolina USA 2019 second runner-up and Miss North Carolina USA 2020 second runner-up.
  10. On July 17, 2021, she represented Southwest Virginia at Miss Virginia USA 2021 at the Carpenter Theater in Richmond, Virginia. She won the title, besting 34 other candidates.
  11. She was 25 years old and an ABC 13 News (WSET) reporter when she was crowned Miss Virginia USA 2021.
  12. On November 29, 2021, she represented Virginia at Miss USA 2021 at the Paradise Cove Theater, River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. She finished in the Top 16.
  13. On April 16, 2022, she crowned her successor Miss Virginia USA 2022 Kailee Horvath at the Merchant Hall of the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas, Virginia.
