In February 2019, Roque joined the Shreveport Police Department. During a use of force encounter in January 2022, he allegedly committed policy violations.
On April 18, 2022, Roque’s employment as a Shreveport Police Department officer ended. On April 21, 2022, a warrant for his arrest was issued.
On April 22, 2022, Roque surrendered himself to Caddo Correctional Center in Shreveport and his bond was set at $10,000. He was charged with one count of malfeasance.
