  4. On June 12, 2020, Starbucks announced it was providing 250,000 Black Lives Matter shirts to employees who wanted to wear them during their shifts. From 4:39 p.m. to 5:42 p.m. on June 14, 2020, he allegedly called nine Starbucks cafes in Saginaw and other parts of Michigan, namely Ann Arbor, Allen Park, Bay City, Birch Run, Flint and Oak Park, and told staffers who answered to “tell the employees working there wearing Black Lives Matter shirts that the only good n—– is a dead n—–“.
  5. On July 4, 2020, he allegedly left inside a beverage cooler at 7-Eleven store in Saginaw a noose with a handwritten note, saying, “An accessory to be worn with your ‘BLM’ t-shirt. Happy protesting!”
  6. On July 12, 2020, he allegedly slipped a noose with a note making threats against Black Lives Matter supporters through the open window of the truck of Donald Simon, them 44, of Saginaw. Simon is black while his wife Regina Simon is white and Mexican.
  7. On July 17, 2020, he left two nooses and notes in the parking lots of Walmart and Kroger stores.
  8. On July 18, 2020, a Black Lives Matter rally was held at his Saginaw home by community members including Vanessa Guerra, Bill J. Ostash and Terry Pruitt.
  9. On April 26, 2022, he was charged with six counts of interfering with federally protected activities. He was represented by Barry Wolf.
  10. He was 61 years old when he was charged on April 26, 2022 with willfully intimidating and attempting to intimidate citizens from engaging in lawful speech and protests in support of Black Lives Matter.
