Candelaria is a municipality in Quezon, one of the five provinces in the Calabarzon region of the Philippines. The province was named after Manuel Luis Quezon, who served as the second president of the country from November 15, 1935 to August 1, 1944.

Every February, Candelaria celebrates the Pista ng mga Kandila (Candle Festival). The municipality is home to Atty. Celso M. Reyes Integrated National High School, the Chrisville Institute of Technology, Dolores Macasaet National High School, Dr. Panfilo Castro National High School and Tayabas Western Academy.

On September 16, 2018, Gezza Avila represented Candelaria at Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018 and competed against 49 other candidates at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She was unplaced.
