Miss Tanzania 2021 Juliana Rugumisa, 24, of Kilimanjaro, Tanzania will crown her successor at the Mlimani City Conference Hall in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on May 20, 2022. It is the 29th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Tanzania’s Miss World candidate.

Tanzania currently has one Miss World placement. Representing the country, Nancy Sumari finished in the Top 6 in 2005.

On December 5, 2020, Rugumisa competed at Miss Tanzania 2020 and became runner-up to Rose Manfere. Rugumisa was later appointed as Miss World Tanzania 2021.
