Daniel Georgiev, 29, represented Bulgaria at Man of the World 2019 at the Fil-Oil Flying V Center in San Juan City, Metro Manila, Philippines on July 11, 2019. He won the title.
Man of the World 2019 winners
Runner-up to Georgiev was Jin Kyu Kim, 29, of South Korea. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Jean Fillippe Vitor Silva of Brazil, Jakub Jurcak of the Czech Republic and John Paul Ocat of the Philippines.
After winning the title, Georgiev refused to sign an exclusive contract with the competition’s organizer Prime Event Productions Philippines (PEPPS). Because of this, he was dethroned and replaced by Kim.
On July 29, 2020, Kim was officially crowned as the new Man of the World 2019. Because of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, he was not able to crown his successor in 2020 and in 2021.
