The 2026 Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup will be held in Canada, Mexico and the United Sates. This is the 23rd edition of the quadrennial international men’s association football championship.
A total of 48 teams will participate at 2026 FIFA World Cup. The teams are from six confederations namely the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF), the Confederación Sudamericana de Fútbol (CONMEBOL), the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
On June 16, 2022, the FIFA announced the 16 cities hosting its 23rd world cup. Here is the list:
