On July 31, 2022, the Binibining Pilipinas 2022 coronation night will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is the 58th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Philippines’ candidates for Miss International, Miss Grand International, Miss Intercontinental and Miss Globe.
The reigning queens are Bb. Pilipinas International Hannah Arnold, 24, Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2021 Samantha Panlilio, 26, Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Obeñita, 26, and Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne, 29. Obeñita and Montagne are also the reigning Miss Intercontinental 2021 and Miss Globe 2021, respectively.
The Philippines has yet to win Miss Grand International. The country has six Miss International crowns, which were won by Gemma Cruz in 1964, Aurora Pijuan in 1970, Melanie Marquez in 1979, Precious Lara Quigaman in 2005, Bea Santiago in 2013 and Kylie Verzosa in 2016.
