Twenty-four Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2022 candidates will compete for the crown at Queen’s Hall in St. Ann’s, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago on September 11, 2022. It is the 43rd edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Trinidad and Tobago’s Miss Universe candidate.
Currently, Trinidad and Tobago has eight Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Janelle Commissiong in 1977 and Wendy Fitzwilliam in 1998. The most recent one was in 2006 when Kenisha Thom finished in the Top 10.

On November 26, 2017, Yvonne Clarke was crowned Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2017. She has yet to crown her successor.
