- In August 2005, he, Anthony Marou Martinez, Oscar Cash Gonzales and Brandon Michael Reeve were involved in a theft ring. That month, Martinez allegedly beat Shanan Lynn Read with a metal baton in his apartment in Seattle, Washington. He and Gonzales allegedly helped Martinez put Read’s body into a container, drove the container to his family’s cabin in Port Orchard, Washington and doused her body with lye and other chemicals to hasten its decomposition.
