Miss Grand International is one of the six grand slam international female beauty pageants. The others are Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth and Miss Supranational.
On December 4, 2021, Nguyen Thúc Thuy Tiên, 23, of Vietnam was crowned Miss Grand International 2021 at the SHOW DC Retail and Entertainment Mega Complex in Bangkok, Thailand. It was the ninth edition of the Thailand-based international beauty pageant founded by Nawat Itsaragrisil, 67.
Runner-up to Nguyen was Andrea Victoria Aguilera Paredes, 20, of Ecuador. On October 25, 2022, the reigning Vietnamese queen will crown her successor at Sentul International Convention Center in Bogor Regency, West Java, Indonesia.
Nguyen’s successor will crown her own successor in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on October 25, 2023. Here are the confirmed Miss Grand International 2023 candidates:

- Valentina Martínez, 22, Venezuela
