  11. On August 11, 2022, Yerges and other investigators approached him at his place of employment, which was the Waupaca Foundry, and took him into custody. He was booked into the Waupaca County Jail in Waupaca.
  12. On August 12, 2022, he was charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide for the deaths of Togstad and Mumbrue.
  13. He was 52 years old when he was charged with homicide on August 12, 2022. That day, Waupaca County Circuit Judge Raymond Huber set cash bond for him at $2 million.
