Miss Danmark 2021 Johanne Grundt Hansen, 21, of Næstved, Zealand, Denmark will crown her successor at Shiny Star in Valby, Copenhagen, Denmark on August 28, 2022. It is the 58th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Denmark’s Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational and Miss Grand International candidates.
Currently, Denmark has eight Miss Universe placements, 16 Miss World placements, seven Miss International placements, two Miss Supranational placements and no Miss Grand International placement. The most recent one was when Natasja Kunde finished in the Top 40 at Miss World 2019.
Hansen was crowned Miss Denmark 2021 at Odd Fellow Palace in Rococo, Copenhagen on November 29, 2021. She was unplaced when she represented Denmark at Miss Supranational 2022 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland on July 15, 2022.
