Miss Earth Nigeria 2021 Christine-Telfer Edet Ugah, 24, of Cross Rivers, Nigeria will crown her successor at the Eui Event Centre in Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria on August 27, 2022. It is the 21st edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Nigeria’s Miss Earth candidate.
Currently, Nigeria has five Miss Earth placements. Representing the African country, Stacey Garvey and Uko Ezinne finished in the Top 16 in 2007 and 2008, respectively, Modupe Susan Garland finished in the Top 10 in 2019 while Gwenivere Chioma Ifeanyieze and Ugah finished in the Top 20 in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
Representing Cross River, Ugah was crowned Miss Earth Nigeria 2021 on August 28, 2021 at The Dome of the Calabar Municipal Gardens in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. Also crowned were Miss Earth Nigeria-Air 2021 Suoyo Enenimiete Mercy of Bayelsa, Miss Earth Nigeria-Water 2021 Mbanusi Chidiogo of Anambra, Miss Earth Nigeria-Fire 2021 Akugbo Amaka Precious of Rivers and Miss Earth Nigeria-Eco Tourism 2021 Zino Precious of Delta.
