A total of 24 Mister World Malaysia 2022 candidates will compete at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on October 21, 2022. It is the sixth edition of the national male beauty pageant that selects Malaysia’s Mister World candidate.
Malaysia has yet to place in Mister World. The Southeast Asian country was represented in the international male beauty pageant by Alwin Low Dai Wen in 1996, Yap Leong Chai in 1998, David Lian in 2010, Mohammad Yusuf Tony in 2016 and Yong Kian Yik in 2019.
On August 23, 2019, Yong and 71 other candidates competed for the Mister World 2019 title, which was won by Jack Heslewood of England. Amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Heslewood was not able to crown his successor in 2020 and in 2021.
Mister World Malaysia 2022 is presented by Universal Music Malaysia. Here are the candidates:
