The Miss Turkey 2022 coronation night will be held at Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul, Turkey on September 20, 2022. It is the 79th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Turkey’s Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Supranational candidates.

Currently, Turkey has three Miss Universe placements and seven Miss World placements. Representing the Middle Eastern country, Azra Akın of Ankara was 21 years old when she was crowned Miss World 2002 in London, England on December 7, 2002.

On September 8, 2021, Dilara Korkmaz of Ankara was crowned Miss World Turkey 2021 at Fişekhane in Istanbul along with Miss Universe Turkey 2021 Cemrenaz Turhan and Miss Supranational Turkey 2021 Şira Sahilli, both of Istanbul. They were all unplaced in their respective international competitions namely Miss World 2021, Miss Universe 2021 and Miss Supranational 2022.
