Kim Tae-jin, Shin Hye-ji and Shin Yoon-ah will host the Miss Korea 2022 coronation night at Blue Square in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea on October 26, 2022. It is the 66th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects South Korea’s Miss International and Miss Earth candidates.

Currently, South Korea has 28 Miss International placements including the first runner-up finishes of Son Tae-young in 2000 and Seo Eun-mi in 2009. The Asian country has seven Miss Earth placements including the third runner-up finish of Choi Song-yi in 2013.

On November 22, 2021, Choi Seo-eun of Seoul was crowned Miss Korea 2021 in Paju, Gyeonggi, South Korea while Choi Min-Sue of Incheon and Kim Su-jin of Daegu were the runners-up. South Korea will be represented by Min-Sue at Miss Earth 2022 in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines on November 29, 2022 and by Su-jin at Miss International 2022 in Tokyo, Japan on December 13, 2022.
