For his participation in the U.S. Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, he was charged with felony offenses of assaulting, resisting, or impeding law enforcement officers, and interfering with law enforcement officers during a civil disorder and related misdemeanor offenses. 
  10. He was 34 years old when he was arrested on October 19, 2022. He made his initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Seattle and was released pending proceedings in Washington, D.C.
