Timothy Allen Allison, 41, of Vallejo, Solano County, California, United States previously lived in North Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Aside from Vallejo, he has lived in other parts of California including Fairfield and Sacramento.
At around 2:45 a.m. on October 30, 2022, a woman in Benicia, Solano County called the police to report hearing noises coming from a bedroom. When Benicia Police Department arrived at her residence, they found Allison hiding inside a closet.
Allison was in possession of a roll of black duct tape, a blackened white Hyflex Ansell glove and a slightly rusted Milwaukee folding knife. His vehicle was found in the area.
After a brief struggle, Allison was arrested, booked into Solano County Jail in Fairfield and charged with resisting arrest, misdemeanor disorderly conduct and first-degree felony breaking and entering. The Benicia Police Department has yet to confirm whether or not he knew the woman, who was not physically harmed but was traumatized.
Benicia was founded on May 19, 1847 and incorporated as a city on March 27, 1850. It served as the capital of California from 1853 to 1854.
In November 2020, Steve Young was elected as the mayor of Benicia, which is just east of Vallejo. Robert McConnell is the incumbent mayor of Vallejo.
