Kerolos Ibrahim, 31, of Osprey, Sarasota County, Florida, United States is a registered pharmacist. He worked as a pharmacy manager at Winn-Dixie in Port Charlotte, Charlotte County, Florida.
Ibrahim was caught on camera removing medication from the shelf at work at Winn Dixie. He placed the stolen items inside a plastic bag and drove to his residence in Osprey.
With the assistance of the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, a search warrant was conducted on November 17, 2022 at Ibrahim’s residence in Osprey where the stolen medication worth $94,000 were found. After confessing to stealing the items, the pharmacist was arrested and charged with grand theft.
“A special thank you to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance with this case,” Charlotte County sheriff Bill Prummell stated. “We always appreciate the support when our jurisdictions collide.”
