  2. On March 2, 2020, she took to Instagram to share a video of students dancing at East High School in Memphis. She choreographed the dance performance.
  3. On November 19, 2021, she played a doll in the stage play “The Toymakers Apprentice” at the Overton Square in Memphis.
  4. On April 7, 2022, “Sister Act Jr.” featuring New Spark Performing Arts in Memphis opened. It was the first full musical she solely choreographed.
  5. In May 2022, she graduated from East High School.
  6. In August 2022, she entered the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky to pursue a bachelor’s degree in fine arts. She is also a student employee.
  7. On November 5, 2022, she worked the night shift. She was the desk clerk on duty working behind the check-in desk of Boyd Hall on the University of Kentucky campus.
  8. On November 6, 2022, Rosing hurled racial slurs at her and physically attacked her at Boyd Hall on the University of Kentucky campus. Videos of the crime went viral. Rosing was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, third-degree assault on a police officer, fourth-degree assault and second-degree disorderly conduct. 
  9. On November 7, 2022, she spoke to hundreds at a rally at the William T. Library of the University of Kentucky, which was attended by her mother Betsy Rosing and her father. On the same day, Rosing was released from jail after Rosing’s parents Paul Donald “Donny” Rosing Jr. and Jill Algie Rosing paid the $10,000 bail.
  10. She was 19 years old when she appeared on “CBS Mornings” on December 7, 2022 with her mother to talk about what Rosing did to her on November 6, 2022.

  1. And now she’ll sue UK and get a bunch of money. What Sophia did to her was beyond waaay wrong. Kyla stirring the pot of racial discord is wrong too. Oh, poor lttle pitiful pearl. Whaaa, whiner. Pffft!
