“The Burmese Python“ Aung La N Sang, 37, of Myitkyina, Kachin, Myanmar is on the “ONE on Prime Video 6” card. It marks his 18th fight in the martial arts organization ONE Championship, which is based in Singapore.
Also known as “ONE Fight Night 6”, “ONE on Prime Video 6” will be held at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand on January 14, 2023. One of the bouts on the main card is a middleweight bout between N Sang and “King Kong Warrior” Fan Rong, 29, of Harbin, China.
ONE Championship has yet to finalize the “ONE on Prime Video 6” card. So far, N Sang is the only Burmese athlete on the card.
This will be Fan’s fifth fight in ONE Championship. He won two of his four previous fights in the organization.
After losing via technical submission via Brabo choke to “The Dutch Knight” Reinier de Ridder, 32, of Breda, North Brabant, Netherlands on January 25, 2019, Fan defeated “The Shark” Sherif Mohamed, 39, of Cairo, Egypt via technical knockout via punches on June 15, 2019 and Yuri Simões, 32, of Brazil and the United States via unanimous decision on October 30, 2022. On December 3, 2021, the Chinese MMA fighter was submitted by Vitaly Bigdash, 38, of Rostov-on-Don, Rostov, Russia via guillotine choke.
Currently, Fan holds a professional MMA record of 19 wins and 3 losses. On the other hand, N Sang has 28 wins, 13 losses and 1 No Contest.
N Sang is now based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. Since 2018, he has been training at Kill Cliff Fight Club, a Deerfield-based MMA gym formerly known as Sanford MMA, Hard Knocks 365 and Combat Club.
The Burmese MMA fighter has been competing in ONE Championship since 2014. He reigned as the organization’s champion in the middleweight division from June 30, 2017 to October 30, 2020 and in the light heavyweight division from February 23, 2018 to April 28, 2021.
Held on November 19, 2022 in Kallang, Singapore, “ONE 163” marked N Sang’s most recent ONE Championship bout. He defeated “Thunder” Yushin Okami, 41, of Kanagawa, Japan via technical knockout via punches.
