Jeffrey Scott Salyer, 35, of Matthews, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, United States is originally from Kansas, USA. He has lived in Henderson, Nevada, USA and in different parts of Kansas including Topeka and Auburn.
After high school, Salyer moved from Kansas to North Carolina. Before moving to Matthew, he lived other part of North Carolina including Monroe, Wilmington and Surf City.
In July 2018, Salyer became a Matthew Police Department officer. In August 2019, he became a North Carolina State Highway Patrol trooper.
On December 23, 2022, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department officers arrested Salyer with a prostitute. On the same day, he resigned from the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Salyer was charged with one felony count of a crime against nature. He also faces misdemeanor prostitution charges.
