Felicia Marie McGuyer of Dorchester, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, United States gave birth to her son in 1997. She was last seen in the area of Roxton Street in Dorchester on October 7, 2007 and her body has yet to be found.

On October 17, 2007, McGuyer was reported missing by her mother. At the time, McGuyer was in a romantic relationship with David Pena, now 32.

On October 31, 2013, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents and Massachusetts State Police officers assisted Boston Police Department officers with the search connected to the disappearance of McGuyer. They searched the woods off Enneking Parkway in West Roxbury, Boston.

In December 2022, a warrant for Pena’s arrest was secured. He was wanted on an outstanding warrant for a murder charge related to the death of McGuyer.

On January 14, 2023, the Boston Police Department picked up Pena from the Baker County Detention Center, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in MacClenny, Baker County, Florida, USA. While booking him into a jail in Mattapan, Boston, the officers learned he was also wanted out of Suffolk County for allegedly trafficking cocaine.

On January 16, 2023, the Boston Police Department announced the arrest of Pena and referred to McGuyer’s case as a homicide. On January 17, 2023, he will appear in Dorchester District Court in Boston for arraignment.
