Jennifer Kaye Holder, 27, of Dayton, Ohio, United States was on Concourse D at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia, United States on the evening of January 17, 2023. The airport’s staff questioned her about not paying for her chicken wings at a Buffalo Wild Wings location inside the airport.
In response, Holder argued with airport employees. At around 9:30 p.m., airport security spotted her attempt to open a secured door and asked police to respond.
When police officers arrived, Holder was discharging a fire extinguisher at Gate D9. She was spraying it at people throughout the crowded airport.
While being arrested, Holder used the fire extinguisher on the officers. Because of respiratory issues associated with the fire extinguisher, three flight attendants had to be taken to the hospital.
Emergency medical services arrived and cleared Holder. She was arrested at transported to the Clayton County Jail in Jonesboro, Georgia.
At the precinct, Holder continued to behave erratically and combative by kicking and spitting at the officers. She was charged with obstructing law enforcement officers, two counts of simple assault and three counts of simple battery.
Bail for Holder was set at $19,500. Before she can be released, she has to pay $3,150 in additional fees.
