BLACKPINK‘s “Jisoo” Kim Ji-soo, 28, “Jennie” Jennie Kim, 27, “Rosé” Roseanne Park, 25, and “Lisa” Lalisa Manobal, 25, were in Paris, France recently. The South Korean girl group performed at Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes charity concert in Paris on January 25, 2023.
Organized by Brigitte Macron, 69, the wife of France’s president Emmanuel Macron, 45, the charity concert was attended by former professional tennis player Roger Federer, 41, of Switzerland. Emmanuel also grace the event and met BLACKPINK.
During the charity concert, BLACKPINK performed “Pink Venom” with cellist Gautier Capuçon, 41, of France and “Shutdown” with violinist Daniel Lozakovich, 21, of Sweden. Both songs are from the K-pop group’s second studio album “Born Pink“, which was released via YG Entertainment and Interscope Records on September 16, 2022.
On January 28, 2023, the pre-recorded concert was broadcast via the France 2 channel. On the same day, Federer took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with BLACKPINK, which was taken during the event.
Born in Valbella, Switzerland, Federal made his professional tennis debut in 1998. He won the men’s singles in the Australian Open six times, in the French Open once, in the Wimbledon Championships eight times and in the U.S. Open five times.
On September 15, 2022, Federer officially announced his retirement from professional tennis. On January 24, 2023, he attended the Chanel show during Paris Fashion Week at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris with his wife Mirka Federer, 44.
Roger and Mirka got married at Wenkenhof Villa in Riehen, Basel-Stadt, Switzerland on April 11, 2009. They have four children together, who are two sets of twins.
