A total of 16 men were arrested along Indian Hill Boulevard near the 10 Freeway in Claremont, Claremont, Los Angeles County, California, United States during a prostitution sting on January 27, 2023. The operation was conducted by the Claremont Police Department and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office Bureau of Investigation.
Seeking to engage in sexual acts, the 16 suspects allegedly solicited four undercover officers posing as sex workers in the sting. Subsequently, additional undercover officers arrested the suspects.
The 16 arrestees were each charged with a misdemeanor solicitation. They were booked and later released with a citations to appear at Pomona Superior Court in Pomona, Los Angeles County.
One of the arrestees is from Nevada, USA while the 15 others are from California. Here is the list:

- Pabitra Sardar, 30 of Pomona, California
- Rigoberto Castro, 33, of West Covina, California
- Victor Gonzalez, 31, of Baldwin Park, California
Claremont was incorporated in 1907. The city is home to the Claremont Colleges, which is its top employer.
Former soccer player Tony Beltran,35, and track and field athlete Kori Carter, 30, were both born in Claremont. Ed Reece, 46, is the city’s incumbent mayor.
