Miguel Angel Lucas Carrasco represented Spain at Mister Global 2021 and competed against 32 other candidates at Taksila Hotel in Maha Sarakham, Thailand on March 15, 2022. He won the title.
Runner-up to Lucas was Danh Chieu Linh of Vietnam. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Shin Dongwoo of South Korea, Juan Carlos da Silva of Venezuela and Gabriel Ortiz of Mexico.
On September 5, 2022, it was announced that Lucas had stepped down from his title and duties as Mister Global 2021. Subsequently, he was replaced by Linh.
Mister Global 2022
On February 11, 2023, Linh will crown his successor at Royal Park Rajapruek in Chiang Mai, Thailand. It is the eighth edition of the international beauty pageant founded by Pradit Pradinunt.

On October 30, 2022, Franco represented the Dominican Republic at Mister International 2022 and competed against 34 other candidates at the new Frontier Theater in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. He won the title.
