  2. He is one of the two sons of Dr. Negussie Nega and Almaz Dama.
  3. He is 9 years older than his brother Yabtamer Negussie Nega.
  4. From 2015 to 2019, he attended the University of Maryland in College Park, Prince George’s County, Maryland where he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and government.
  5. From May 2017 to August 2017, he was a legislative intern at the office of Jon Tester, who assumed office as the U.S. senator from Montana, USA on January 3, 2007.
  6. In 2020, he entered Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA to pursue his Doctor Law degree.
  7. In June 2021, he joined ZMO Law PLLC in New York City, New York, USA as a legal intern.
  8. On January 23, 2023, he allegedly repeatedly punched a fellow Harvard Law School student and called the other student a homophobic slur outside the school’s Langdell Hall. He was sectioned to a hospital where he assaulted at least five employees. Officers transported him from the hospital to Cambridge District Court in Medford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.
  9. He was 27 years old when he was arraigned on January 27, 2023. Represented by Alice L. Purple, he pleaded not guilty to assault and battery for the purpose of intimidation. He was ordered held without bail and sent to Bridgewater State Hospital in Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts for a competency evaluation.
  10. His next court date is scheduled for February 16, 2023.

  1. Funny, no pictures of him at all? Anyone else charged with hate crime/homophobia would have their picture plastered all over social media and news media . Preferential treatment?
