The Federal Bureau of Investigation‘s Child Exploitation Task Force in Dallas, Texas, United States and the North Texas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and other law enforcement agencies took part in an investigation called Operation Janus. From January 16, 2023 to February 10, 2023, they sought out people trafficking illegal images and videos of children forced to perform sexual acts.
Operation Janus started after Facebook, Google and other companies flagged the inappropriate material. Some of the victims in the operation are infants.

Over the course of the operation, more than 80 criminal charges were filed. A total of 28 children were rescued from online sexual abuse and 59 offenders, including teachers and a firefighter, were arrested.
Most of the arrestees are from Texas and one is from Alaska. Here is the list:
