Kimberly J. Masi, 45, of Missouri City, Fort Bend County, Texas, United States is an alumna of Texas State University in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas. Aside from Missouri City, she has lived in other parts of Texas including San Marcos, Manvel, Houston and Pearland.
Since May 2003, Masi has been certified to teach early childhood to fourth-grade students in Texas. She is also certified to teach English as a second language to students up to sixth grade.
In 2009, Masi allegedly sexually assaulted a child. At the time, she was employed by the Alvin Independent School District in Alvin, Brazoria County, Texas and was teaching at Don Jeter Elementary in Manvel.
In April 2022, the allegation surfaced and an investigation started. The Texas Education Agency was notified and Masi resigned from her position at Don Jeter Elementary.
Soon after the resignation, Masi was hired by the Fort Bend Independent School District in Sugar Land, Fort Bend County, Texas. She joined Leonetti Elementary School in Missouri City as a third-grade teacher.
On February 23, 2022, Masi was arrested and booked into the Brazoria County Jail in Angleton, Brazoria County. Her bond was set at $100,000 bond.
Masi was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. She has been placed on administrative leave per the policy of the FBISD, which is running a thorough investigation.
