2022

• In September 2022, he used social media applications to communicate with an individual he believed to be a girl aged 14 but who was actually an undercover FBI agent. He sent the purported minor nine photographs and videos of himself displaying his genitalia and tried to pressure her into sending him photos of herself. 

2023

• On March 1, 2023, FBI agents arrested him at his residence in Lenox. He made an initial appearance in federal court in Springfield. He was charged with attempt to transfer obscene material to a minor.

2024

• On July 16, 2024, he pleaded guilty to one count of attempting to transfer obscene material to a minor.
• On November 18, 2024, U.S. District Court judge Mark G. Mastroianni sentenced him in federal court in Springfield to 14 months in prison and three years of supervised release.
