The Miss South Carolina USA 2023 coronation night will take place at the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center in North Charleston, South Carolina, United States on March 4, 2023. It is the 71st edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects South Carolina’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.

Currently, South Carolina holds 37 Miss USA placements including the coronation of Miriam Stevenson in 1954, Shawn Weatherly in 1980 and Lu Parker in 1994. The most recent one was in 2021 when Marley Stokes finished in the Top 8.

Stevenson is Miss Universe 1954 while Weather is Miss Universe 1980. Parker finished in the Top 6 at Miss Universe 1994.

Representing Upstate, Meera Bhonsle was crowned Miss South Carolina USA 2022 at the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center on March 5, 2022. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Riley Copans of Clemson, Liza Walker of Lake Wylie, Katie Mode of North Augusta and Davia Bunch of Greenville.
