The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 coronation night will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on May 13, 2023. It is the fourth edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Philippines’ official Miss Universe candidate.
Currently, the Philippines has 26 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Gloria Diaz in 1969, Margie Moran in 1973, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015 and Catriona Gray in 2018. The most recent one was in 2021 when Beatrice Gomez finished in the Top 5.
Representing Pasay City, Celeste Cortesi was 24 when she won Miss Universe Philippines 2022 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on April 30, 2022. Michelle Dee, then 27, of Makati City ranked second and was crowned Miss Universe Philippines Tourism 2022 while Pauline Amelinckx, then 26, of Bohol ranked third and was crowned Miss Universe Philippines Charity 2022.
