Complete list of Miss Universe Philippines 2023 candidates

The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 coronation night will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines on May 13, 2023. It is the fourth edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Philippines’ Miss Universe candidate.

Currently, the Philippines has 26 Miss Universe placements including the coronation of Gloria Diaz in 1969, Margie Moran in 1973, Pia Wurtzbach in 2015 and Catriona Gray in 2018. The most recent one was in 2021 when Beatrice Gomez finished in the Top 5.

Representing Pasay City, Celeste Cortesi was 24 when she won Miss Universe Philippines 2022 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on April 30, 2022. Michelle Dee, then 27, of Makati City ranked second and was crowned Miss Universe Philippines Tourism 2022 while Pauline Amelinckx, then 26, of Bohol ranked third and was crowned Miss Universe Philippines Charity 2022.

There are 38 women competing for the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 crown. Here are the candidates:

Evangeline Fuentes, 24, of Pangasinan, Dianne Mae Refugio, 23, Davao del Norte and Breena Marie Ylaya Evans, 27, Mandaue were originally included in the list of candidates. Fuentes withdrew from the competition on February 27, 2023 due to health reasons and was replaced by Kristeen Mae Boccang, 23, of Apayao.

On March 1, 2023, Refugio backed out for personal reasons and on March 5, 2023, Evans also withdrew for undisclosed reasons. Neither Refugio nor Evans was replaced.
