Iuri Lapicus was a professional mixed martial artist who fought out of Moldova by way of Milan, Italy. He was 5’9″ and he competed in the middleweight division.
Born in Gura Bicului, Anenii Noi, Moldova, Lapicus is the younger brother of Marin Lapicus. Iuri trained at Team Petrosyan in Milan with Armenian-Italian brothers Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan and Armen Petrosyan.

- On March 17, 2023, he was severely injured after losing control of his motorbike in Pogliano Milanese, Milan and colliding with a car driven by a woman, then 69. A helicopter rushed him to a hospital in Milan where he fell into a coma. On March 20, 2023, he died in the hospital. He was 27.
