Seamus Patrick Gray, 21, of Jupiter, Palm Beach County, Florida, United States is a U.S. Navy sailor stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base in Lake County, Illinois, USA. The city nearest to the naval base is Waukegan, Lake County.
On the evening of the March 17, 2023, Gray went to Waukegan for a night of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. On the early morning of March 18, 2023, he entered the Ibiza bar on North Genesee Street in Waukegan twice.
Gray was too intoxicated so he was ultimately escorted out. Outside the bar, he got into at least two altercations.
Just before 2:00 a.m., Gray was standing outside the bar where he was talking to a group of people. Someone in the group was caught on camera grabbing the wallet from his pocket and throwing it back at him.
That was the last time Gray was seen. He was supposed to report at the naval base at 2:00 a.m.
On March 21, 2023, the U.S. Navy reported Gray missing. On the evening of March 22, 2023, the U.S. Coast Guard helped police and fire crews start an extensive search of the area where Gray was last seen.
At 9:00 a.m. on March 23, 2023, search efforts resumed. Gray is still missing.
Gray is Kerry Rodier Gray‘s son. He has a younger brother who is a teenager.
