Samuel Morren, 47, of Wilmington, Clinton County, Ohio, United States previously lived in Wilmington, Los Angeles, California, USA and Fort Polk, Vernon Parish, Louisiana, USA. He is also known as Manuel Vasquez Rivera.

In 2021, the Covington Independent Public Schools hired Morren. He taught Spanish at Holmes High School in Covington, Kenton County, Kentucky, USA where he also served as also an E-sports coach and an assistant soccer.

Aside from Wilmington, Morren has lived in other parts of Ohio including Dayton and Beavercreek. While in Ohio, he allegedly posted a photo of a naked minor to his Reddit account.

On September 25, 2022, the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) organization discovered the Reddit post. On November 14, 2022, the organization referred Morren’s case to the Wilmington Police Department.

On March 28, 2023, Morren was arrested at Holmes High School, charged with two counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor and booked into the Kenton County Jail in Covington. He has resigned from his teaching job at Holmes High School and is expected to be extradited to Ohio.

Founded in 1853 as Covington Central High, Holmes High School is the oldest public school in Kentucky.  In 1919, the school moved to Holmesdale, a mansion built by Point Pleasant, Clermont County, Ohio native Daniel Henry Holmes.

Born in Covington, former Major League Baseball umpire Randy Marsh, 73, graduated from Holmes High School. Calvary Christian School, Covington Latin School and Holy Cross High School are also located in the city.
