The Miss Maryland USA 2023 coronation night will be held at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Rockville, Montgomery County, Maryland, United States on April 2, 2023. It is the 71st edition of the state-level beauty pageant that selects Maryland’s candidate for Miss USA, which selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.

Currently, Maryland 24 Miss USA placements including the coronation of Mary Leona Gage in 1957. Representing the state, Paulette Reck and Nana Meriwether were the first runner-up in 1968 and in 2012, respectively.

Caleigh Shade of Cumberland was 22 when she was crowned Miss Maryland USA 2022 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center on May 15, 2022. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Kennedy Taylor, Caitlyn Stupi, Ashley Jones and Kaylene Robinson.
