BRAVE Combat Federation‘s “BRAVE CF 70” and World Freefight Challenge‘s “WFC 25” will take place simultaneously as a joint event in Ljubljana, Slovenia on April 23, 2023. Two of the mixed martial artists on the card are “The Bounty Hunter” Erko Jun, 32, of Bosnia and Herzegovina and “Peregrino” Joilton Lutterbach, 30, of Brazil and Germany.
On April 21, 2023, BRAVE CF and WFC held an open workout session in Ljubljana featuring athletes competing in the upcoming joint event. Fight fans who watched the session were given more than what they expected as Jun and Lutterbach performed a duet.
The final open workout featured Jun and Lutterbach. The two entertained the crowd with light sparring and humor.
While shirtless, Jun and Lutterbach mimicked each other out before breaking into a singing duel, much to the delight of the fans present. The Bosnian MMA fighter told the audience, “We thank you for coming.”
“We really appreciate it,” Jun continued. “We can’t wait to put on a show for you all. Today is also a special day as it is my daughter’s birthday.”
During the open workout, “Bane” Andreas Gustafsson Berg, 32, of Sweden showed off his flexibility and strength with an incredible stationary headstand which he utilized to warm up his neck muscles, crucial to the prevention of injury in this sport. He displayed his wide variety of artillery, revving up his stand-up with pad work before transitioning quickly into grappling and wrestling exchanges.
“I am an entertainer and I am here to give BRAVE Nation fans something to remember me by this weekend,” Berg said. “We are here to put on a big show. See you on Sunday, guys and girls.”
Berg and Lutterbach will co-headline “BRAVE CF 70”. They will battle it out in the super welterweight division.
Both Lutterbach and Jun train out of UFD Gym in Dusseldorf, Germany. The latter will fight “Lionheart” Marko Drmonjič, 39, of Slovenia in the light heavyweight division in the main event of “BRAVE CF 70”.
