Brenham, Texas’s Jeremy Kejuan Wright charged with aggravated robbery

Jeremy Kejuan Wright, 20, of Brenham, Washington County, Texas, United States registered as a voter in Texas on April 1, 2021. His party affiliation is unknown.

On the morning of April 25, 2023, Wright allegedly walked into a woman’s opened garage on Blodgett Peak Trail in Spring, Harris County, Texas. He allegedly demanded money from the woman as she was getting ready to leave for work.

When the woman said she did not have any money, Wright allegedly held her at gunpoint and demanded her to perform sexual acts on him. At around 6:50 a.m., the woman’s daughter, 14, called 911 and reported that her mother was being held at gunpoint in the garage.

Around 6:53 a.m., Harris County Constables Office deputies arrived on Blodgett Peak Trail and safely evacuated the girl and other children from their home. They found Wright inside the garage and took him into custody shortly after.

Wright was booked into the Harris County Jail in Houston, Texas. He was charged with aggravated robbery.

Charges of aggravated sexual assault are pending. Wright’s court and bond information have yet to be set.
